Loopzle Update 1.1 Changelog

This is the 1st update after the GameJam version. First, I want to say thank you for all the feedback I got on my new game Loopzle. Creating it was a lot of fun and I got so many (over 50!) comments. You all gave valuable feedback to me and I tried to implement some of it here. You can play the updated version of the game right now (the original GameJam version is available as a download). The following document contains a list of every Addition and Change made for Update 1.1:

New Features

  • Added a level transition. There is now a short swipe animation instead of an instant change.
    • [Web only] Note: The animation is buggy, so it was removed. This might get fixed in later versions.
  • Added a settings Button that appears in level 2 and forward. This button makes a settings bar appear at the right side of the screen. The settings bar also contains new settings options:
    • a new reload button. You can now restart any level to find better/more efficient paths.
    • a new slider on the right side to let players adjust the step delay as needed.
    • the music button is here now.
  • Added a “Least Turns needed” indicator in the bottom right corner. This will show the least amount of turns needed for completing a level.
  • Added a tiny button hint for the 1st tutorial that will tell players to press Space for continuing in the tutorial.
  • Added a new intro jingle to the start screen
  • [Windows only] Added a option to quit the game at any time in the windows version. Holding Escape for a few seconds will quit the game now.

Changes

  • Rearranged the UI slightly
  • made the background music less loud (-50% loudness)
  • The music toggle button now pauses the music instead of stopping it. Before the Update, the music restarted every time you clicked on the button to enable it.

Bugfixes

  • None so far :)
